Well done Robin, you've worked miracles  I've just got my dormobile through it's roadworthy (mot)too, it hasn't had one since 1979 when it landed in oz :woohoo: The rules here are that as long as you own the vehicle, you don't need to have your car inspected.Only when you buy a car and regis...

Another "dormobile" down under
I recently stumbled across a dormobile in a paddock while looking at an ebay ad for another item for sale. It could be clearly seen in the background in one of the pics. I rang the guy about it but he wasn't very polite and said he didn't know what it was, it was used as a farm hack and was certainl...

Re: Elizabeth
Looks great to me too 8-)
Just a quick query concerning the above pic, were some series vehicles fitted with deeper sill sections than others ?? Was it a series 2 / 3 change ?? The sills in this pic look much deeper than the ones fitted to my dormobile :?
I must say I prefer the deeper variety

Roof Edge Trim.........
Can anybody confirm whether the black edge trim that goes on the fibreglass roof should go all the way around the roof, or does it start at hinge 1 and finish at hinge 3 :stars: leaving the middle section free of trim ?? In my kit of parts that I purchased from "Dormobile" was the edge tri...

Re: My 1967 Carawagon (no name yet!)
I'm amazed how quick you are putting this together :o Does the disco engine use the original engine mounts ?? I've got a 300 tdi defender unit lined up for my conversion but I'm a bit nervous of starting :stars: I thought I'd remove existing mounts and then fit defender items as per the original cha...
