Re: Forum outage and update

Hi Ian, It looks like the old green theme I adapted for the previous forum software doesn't work on the latest version - I'll work on that and see if I can get it back again. Until then - I've set it to use "Elegance" by default, the contrast is a bit better than the default one I think - ...

Re: Carawagon interior roof covering

Wear goggles when vacuuming or brushing the roof though - looking up into a falling cloud of tiny glass fibres is asking for trouble!

Thanks for the recommendation Rob! We've been looking for a place to have a work camping trip and this looks ideal.

Re: Funeral of Romanyrose

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend as that's the day of my partner's long awaited surgery appointment and we'll be down in Surrey for it. I hope lots of folk and their Land Rovers can, Brad always did love to do things a little differently and filling up Lincoln with old Land Rovers for his fun...

Re: Live Promotion now charging for club displays :(

The attraction of these events for me was a free weekend camping with friends, and the show that went on around us was just a bonus. Re: hot starting problem

Hi Phil, If you do manage to fix it, please let us know how you did it. Mine does this sometimes, but not often enough or for long enough to diagnose. Usually a few taps of the starter button gets it going again. The starter was replaced with a brand new Bearmach one fairly recently, before that it ...

Looks like that one has the (correct?) vertical slots too!

Re: Bulkhead alignment - bottom bolts on richards chassis

It's possible! And more than likely what Richards will assume/claim too.

The horizontally slotted holes in the bulkhead feet are inconsistent with a series 3 bulkhead (the only one we have exposed at the moment) which has vertically slotted holes in the bulkhead feet.

Bulkhead alignment - bottom bolts on richards chassis

This has nothing to do with campers I'm afraid - it's a SWB rechassis that is at the reassembly phase. However the s2c forum is down - so hopefully some folk on here will be able to help. The basic problem is the hole in the chassis outrigger the bulkhead bolts through, seems to be 4mm lower on a Ri...
