Re: WANTED: Round Smiths heater
Gday R-Rose, The heater isn't available anymore. I had a bit of an epiphany and decided to put the heater up on ebay. I figure if I sell it I can use the proceeds to buy a multitude of parts for the Dormy, as opposed to just another heater. I suppose you'd call it prioritising. Thanks anyway! Cheers...

Re: WANTED: Round Smiths heater
Gday Jerryd. It would definitely seem that way! Thanks for the links but I was looking for something a bit more original. Also I had to pick myself up off the floor when I saw what price they were asking!!!

WANTED: Round Smiths heater
Gday all. I'm chasing a round Smiths heater for my '64 Dormobile. I have a complete flat Smiths to swap. I'd even be happy with spare bits and bobs or what ever people have lying about?

Re: Series three heater blower
Gday Romanyrose. I have a few s3 blowers if you're still chasing one? The only problem is I'm in Western Australia so postage is definitely something to consider.

Re: I have no idea!
Hi all I have one of the larger tool boxes in my shed. I think it came with my Dormobile, but as the seatbox was missing, I never knew how it fitted? All now becomes clear. Glad it's sorted Jabbawocky! I did notice tonight that with the toolbox installed it doesn't leave much room for an overdrive!...

Re: I have no idea!
Thanks everyone. I had a win tonight. Finally got the seat removed (it slid surprisingly easily on the runners) but not before I had to remove the s3 hand brake lever that was stopping the seat from going all the way forward! The centre toolbox is retained by 2 screws along the front edge and a lip ...

Re: I have no idea!
Oh and further to that, the hole in the panel was for access to the under seat aux fuel tank. Not the best job I've seen but definitely not the worst!

Re: I have no idea!
Thank you Ian yet again . The panel is steel is that standard also?
And I can't see any straight forward way of removing the driver's seat, without undoing the 15,000 bolts and screws holding the frame in. Am I missing something?
Cheers
