series 2a Land Rover Dormobile
I'm thinking of fitting parabolic springs on my Dormobile. At present the front springs are standard to the Station wagon but the rear springs look like a heavy duty replacement without the helper leaf fitted as original station wagon springs. These rear springs give a harsh ride and create a pitchi...

Re: Dormobile
Thanks for your supportive comments. I didn't want to be a slave to series 2A Land Rover colour convention. Its all a bit of a mixture of series elements, the plain galvanised bits remind me of a 107 station wagon I had and the two tone green because I like both shades and couldn't decide which one ...

Re: Dormobile
The doors have been replaced and the paint work done. As it turned out there was a lot of hassle with the second row doors but sorted now. It now looks like this, light pastel green over deep bronze green with roof kept in light cream as it was before. Sound proofing and cabinet refurb to go. Kind r...

Re: Wanted- grab rail for front seat and white embossed vinyl material
Hi Alex, thanks for your reply. My Dormobile is 1971 and was registered on 1/9/71. Think there has been a bit of a chequered history with many of the internal Dormobile parts but most of them are present but not sure if they are original to my Dormobile! The drivers seat has the bar on the back of i...

Hi there, Could anyone help me please with a grab rail for the rear of a front passenger seat of a Land Rover Dormobile. Re: roof ventilator - replacement seals
I'm down in Essex so some way from your Bradford Supplier!! Do they have a web site though?
I've used Seals Direct for the roof cap edge seal but cant' see a suitable profile for the ventilator on their web site or catalogue.
Thanks and regards.
