Re: Another "dormobile" down under
Then again John, when we emigrated there in 1963, my dad had his VW Beetle shipped with us - so perhaps it wasn't such an unusual thing to do? Those were the days - none of these 24 hour flights - we did it the hard (but much nicer) way - 6 weeks on a ship, through the Suez Canal, not that I remembe...

Re: Ebay, 1975 Dormobile for sale.
The seller has sent me a few more photos:
Looks a bit different to the SW version, with wooden furniture etc. As the seller says, it's not an original Dormobile conversion.
Still looks like a very useful camper
Cheers,
Robin.

Hi Stu Galvanising is now back, just need the correct rivets to arrive and all will be complete. Cheers Mick Hey Mick, does that mean our awning poles and other bits are done :nana1: I don't suppose we'll get over to pick them up in the next couple of weeks, and if you're not doing Ripon on the 6th...
Re: Hello
Aaagh - I seem to remember you asking about my LWB, although how serious you were about an S3 rat, I'm not sure, but perhaps I should have given you a chance :tiphat: Anyway, Rex has gone to a very nice guy in Sheffield, and I hope he's happy there - I do miss him as he was the one I could...

Re: Another "dormobile" down under
Now that is very cheap - at the moment!!
It's always interesting to see variants overseas - makes you wonder how much it would have cost to ship these vehicles over in the 60s/70s?
Thanks for flagging that one up - it all adds interest
Cheers,
Robin.

Hi Stu,
Nice to see you on here
I'm assuming we'll be seeing you at Leafers, if not before?
Cheers,
Robin.

Re: Ripley Castle Classic Car Show, 4th June
Well he hasn't mentioned it - perhaps he thinks it's always been like that, or maybe he hasn't noticed yet :stars: Are you there, John - can you hear us talking about you :neener: No - perhaps too busy writing letters about folk singers to the LRO  Maybe he lies on the bonnet and peeks over t...
