Re: Hi from The Overlanders!

You made it here, excellent! I've been reading through the brilliant blogs, you're doing it! :gold: If you find the time, a couple of snaps of your vehicles and their specs would be great. Dougal sounds a character, I bet it was swore at when it bogged on beaches etc  Welcome in anyway, Alec.

Re: Rear tent

Ahaa, the pics of your frame look almost identical to the british army 9x9 command tent, designed to butt against a Landie.

Good stuff!
I run 31-10.50R15's on my Ambu.
Good road holding and also very good soft-ground performance, all-important up here!!

Re: night heaters.

I'm fitting a Propex in the ambulance. I already have the propane for the cooker so may as well hook it in for heating.

In my daily driver it's going to be an ex-ambulance mikuni. As good as eberspacher but cheaper to locate :-D

Need the get my finger out and fit them!!

Re: Cookers / Stove Reviews

I can't wait till you evolve to the real gear :neener:

I have a broad selection of Army No1, No2, No3, No12 beasties along with the tamer Optimus 111, 111T, 22, 8R, 71's etc.

Careful, paraffin/white-gas stoves and lamps are dangerously addictive!!
