Re: My new newest Carawagon :)
Hadn't thought about a layer of that stuff behind the interior. Might look at a fabric/carpet cover for the inside to insulate, reduce noise & more comfortable to sleep against.

Re: My new newest Carawagon :)
I'd assumed it was a cheap cladding and had wondered about removing it (the aluminium). Will have to take a more careful look once I've got her on the road & up to Robin's for a look at his latest (as far as we know!) purchase!

The interior pic is actually of mine....! Except it's currently got the cushions up as battery is in the back & needed access. And has a load of bits scattered about.

Well done Rob! Make sure your water's running (if you'll pardon the expression!!) If it's like the 88" then that'll be down the inside of the drivers door frame & up through the passenger floor. SWMBO wasn't amused when that "leak" appeared..... My first words were "Are you ...

Re: It's arrived, but insurance is a mess!
Sure, still waiting for the forms etc but it's about £220 for a modified 109 (engine, brakes & suspension - PAS doesn't count!) with 5k miles and (very) occasional commuting (ie heading away straight from work). Underwriter is Chaucer, broker Heritage. Defined on the policy as a 109 Carawagon. I...

Re: It's arrived, but insurance is a mess!
Thanks for the info. Interesting as Flux also use Chaucer as an underwriter. Is the base vehicle modified? Might be further complications with the carawagon so everything on hold for that. Christmas and other stuff has also taken priority. I'm hoping to be in a position to restart the faffing after ...
