Sorry, don't know the answer but have seen countless posts on the overnight camping facebook pages about registering vans as campers. It seems that "modern" vans are restricted to 60 mph but camper vans aren't. Of the 4 Dormobiles I have had, only one has been registered as a motor caravan...

rear paras on mine but reverted to standards on the front as 2 leaf paras were too weak.
I know Mick reckons his is 3 tonnes, but I had mine on the weighbridge and got it to 2 tonnes, so you can't scimp on quality though
