Re: Dormobile seat bases past there best.
Hi Mick, An idea I toyed with - but haven't tried yet, is buying a cheap memory foam mattress and chopping it into sections to replace all the Carawagon cushions. Something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bodymould-Single-Memory-Mattress-Topper/dp/B00359LGII I'm not sure it would be supportive en...

Re: Carawagon internal lamp on Ebay
R. J. Searle were indeed the Carawagon makers - but they also sold normal unconverted vehicles as a dealer. My 1969 SWB was supplied by them too, with an etched plate on the back like you describe. It does seem quite likely the person selling the lamp got it off a Searle supplied Land Rover, and ass...

Re: carawagon sw series 2 six cylinder
they the right way up when I see them in the post. Not sure what's going on with that?! Looks like an Apple feature that's too clever for it's own good! Having done a bit of digging it looks like all the upside down photos were taken on an iPhone 6? and it's saved loads of extra data in the image, ...

Re: My enthusiasm rekindled
Hi Chris, Sorry I missed this post the first time round, those are some nice photos! It's hopefully tucked away in somebodies workshop being slowly restored, if it (or any other similar vehicles) crop up on ebay and other sites I'm sure somebody will spot it and post it on here. I've had a quick loo...

Re: carawagon sw series 2 six cylinder
Looks like excellent progress!
The images are a bit odd though - if you click on them to view the original it's the right way up...I'll have a look when I get home tonight and see if there's something odd on the forum maybe

Carawagon internal lamp on Ebay
Doesn't look like anything I've seen before, but the seller reckons it's original from a series 2a Carawagon Safari roof.

Re: WANTED: 109 Rear Window Catch
Hi Phil,
Funnily enough that was missing on my Carawagon too - and it was Brad (the wonderfully named RomanyRose), who found a spare one for me too.
They are easy to fit, but like he says beware the pin that tends to fall out and hide under things.
Thanks again Brad!
best regards,
Patrick

Re: How to clean a flock head lining
Just to add, if you are doing any brushing of the flock overhead, wear goggles...those tiny fiber strands can get in your eyes and take lots of washing to get out.
Vacuum first to get rid of the loose bits maybe?

Re: Nov 2015 Forum upgrade
Hi Loïc, Tapatalk do publish a plugin we could use, but while researching it I've come across lots of worrying posts about unpatched security holes. I'll look into it more, but first impressions are I don't trust them enough to give them access to our server. Out of interest, which smartphone are yo...

Hi Brad, Things should be back to normal so your diary can continue - though a few things may have moved around they should still be there somewhere I'll probably be fiddling and tweaking with bits and pieces for the next few days, so if anything goes wrong then it's probably not something you've do...
