Please do keep us updated of progress. Happy to hep etc. The vehicles just need TLC. No need to scrap a Dormi with availability of Chassis & Bulkheads these days.
Kindest regards

Re: Rushden Cavalcade last weekend
Well done that man & family. Very taken with the shrunk Bedford Van parked to your left.
I hope your family enjoyed the event.

Re: Expedition over-bonnet roof rack
Alex
Thank you for the offer.
If you could assist that would be very helpful indeed. However I would not want to impose on anyone.
That said, I would be highly appreciative.
Let us keep in touch & see what transpires in the meantime.

Re: Expedition over-bonnet roof rack
Another dumb question if I may. How does the rack fit to the gutter rails (by clamps)?
Do I need to bring a drill to affix the front to the front bumper?
Already applying easing oil to the windscreen hinge bolts in preparation!
Kindest regards

Thank you Ladies & Gents. I just now need to get the bulkhead fixed up. Hopefully this July / August. I am thinking I would be available to trundle up on Thursday 23rd July for arrival Saturday 25th July. Trundling back down (via Mick) over the weekend... Assuming I am successful that is. No rus...

Re: Expedition over-bonnet roof rack
Thank you for the comparison Jerry. Much appreciated. I thought that "stirrup" was for gaining access - but not sure. Now I know. The question have (more broadly) was protecting a roof rack from corrosion. I appreciate they could be regalvanised & in doing so there should be vent holes...

Re: Dormobile Roof Fasterns
Thank you Gents. You have answered my poorly specified question. I was originally referring to the brass screws trhat kept the hinges on the roof. However I originally neglected to expand my query to the actual hinges. Thank you for providing a more expansive answer than I originally expected. You h...
