Re: Dormobile - Porta Potti - Mod & which one.

Thank you Gentlemen
I will research. It is not an immediate mod - I need functional A B & C pillars first! That said the Porta Potti 35 would help my 5 year old enjoy her holiday next year.
Kindest regards

Re: Dormobile - Porta Potti - Mod & which one.

Many thanks Alex.

So in practice the entire potti comes out form underneath the wardrobe. So would I be correct in saying that the wardrobe width determines the max "cut" in the inner wing?

Kindest regards

Dormobile - Porta Potti - Mod & which one.

Ladies & Gentlemen I am looking for advice / measurements on the Wheel Arch / Wardrobe mod to fit a Porta Potti under the wardrobe. Any measurements images etc would be very helpful. Also advice as to what Porta Potti to actually have. I ask as there is a early opportunity next year to get this ...

Re: Seat frame colour

I am in the process of doing my frames for 1967 Dormi. Seat frames were cream / white from what remains. PO covered them in black presumably to modernise them. I have repainted (Strip > Bilt Hamber Deoxy C gel, Bilt Hamber Epoxy Mastic > Rustoelum Ivory Bisque). Interesting to note that this leaves ...

Re: The Great Continental Divide expedition 2015

Ian Trips like the one you kindly documented are truly inspirational. It is very helpful to know what can be achieved by the 2.25 (Diesel in my case) give the venerable nature of the power plant. Excellent effort & I hope you enjoyed yourself! I think perhaps a meet with Terri Anne Wakeman is on...

Re: Expedition over-bonnet roof rack

What a cracking idea Patrick. I was considering a fly for ventilation, however the suggestion for access is very good. Thank you. Cleaning - upstairs is done - just some bedding to do...then the downstairs...will start some priming of internal woodwork to through her ladyships nose off the scent (li...

Re: Expedition over-bonnet roof rack

Thank you Gentlemen It took 3 to lift it on due to difficult size rather than weight. All up I would say it is 35KG. It will stay on permanently once the width issue is resolved. I intend to use it as a sun deck for the daughter & I on trips. It was an opportunistic purchase, hence the bulkhead ...

Re: Expedition over-bonnet roof rack

May I say a very big thank you to Sheila (Dieselhen) who offered huge hospitality on my trip up to collect the rack. I have not had such a wide ranging and enjoyable fireside chat like that for over 20 years. The rack now is again in use... http://i1032.photobucket.com/albums/a401/mark_barnes_uk/LRC...
