Re: Rear tent
Hi Karl, These holes are drain holes to allow the rainwater drain away from the windowchannels. Make sure that you open them up if they are blocked. Maybe not such an issue where you are. But over here in the cold and wet all the time, you grow your own mobile garden if you let it all clog up. Michiel

Re: Hi from Victoria, Australia
Welcome to the forum. Very interting story about that trakka roof. Looks suitable for a lot of vehicles if you alter the bit that goes over the rear door. That looks if it was designed specificaly for landrovers to me. Are you planning to do the interior by your own design or source the correct dorm...

Re: Rear Seat Belts............
Mine had floor mounted ones when I got them, but frankly they weren't safe so I removed them... I have been thinking about what to put in, but it isn't urgent with just two of us.. How did you fix the top brackets? The bracket fits exactly as in a defender, there are two bolts that go through the r...

Re: Removal fabric bunkbeds
Thanks for the reply Jerry,
The fabric has been replaced in recent years by MichelJ. But unfortunately the fabric has been trapped in the mechanism. So the plasic bits are new I believe. It is unfortunate the I have to remove the whole bunk to ake the fabric off.

Removal fabric bunkbeds
Can someone tell me how to remove the fabric from the bunkbeds easely? Unfortunately the fabric has been trapped in the mechanism and is a bit ripped and need repairing. The fabric needs to come off the poles for that.
Cheers,

Re: Just come back
Just noticed that you made the wheel box lower where the wardrobe is going to be, just like Mick has. How does that look from outside, looking into the wheel arch? http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww5/AWBywaters/Blue%20Dormobile/SDC13650_zps16381907.jpg You should be able to do the same on the oth...

Re: Gathering in France 2014?
We (Louise, William and I) will not be leaving Yorkshire until William leaves school and Louise leaves work. We will be dashing straight down to Dover and getting on a late ferry. We always drive straight round to the Aires de Service (Motorhome parking area) the other side of the port and go strai...

Re: Just come back
Is the stage one axle the front or rear axle? I guess if you use permanent 4 wheel drive you would need cv joints rather then the uj in the normal series front axle. Did you have to move the gearbox x member or is it in the original place, just removable? Sorry for all these questions, but I am plan...
