Re: HEC updates
Hi Brad, I have a pair of hoops that were intended to support the roof of a pop-top. I don't want them, but I do want their space. Should I add them to the clutter that I hope to be bringing to you soon? If not, then they are up for grabs (but you get first dibs). About 45" x 22". They are...

Re: thinking outside the milk crate
Hi Brad, Thanks for the thought ... I hadn't considered invalid buggy motors ... buggies are often quite cheap on Ebay (search OTHER VEHICLES ... lots of strange stuff listed) I logged onto LRCC, just before logging off ... hospital appointment this afternoon, another tomorrow morning, another tomor...

Re: thinking outside the milk crate
Hi Ian, I had considered jockey wheels for my POD jacks, but discarded due to limited lift. They briefly crossed my mind for the sides step, instantly discarded for same reason. But I clicked on your link, and scrolled down past the jockey wheel, to the jockey wheel clamps. Hmmm! Cobble in a support...

Re: thinking outside the milk crate
Hi, See attached sketch of jus one embryonic idea for a motorised side step. There seems to be enough room to squeeze a length of box section alongside/behind the passenger seat squab, but failing that, the telecope could go behind the tub bulkhead. ... it could even fit inside the underseat tool bo...

Re: thinking outside the milk crate
Hi All, Thanks for your ideas and suggestions. Unfortunately, my SWMBO suffers more than one restriction to her agility, ranging from a life long movement problem that she has always denied is a disability, to age (rising 75) related reductions in agility and balance, and the effects of a nasty fall...

Hi Robin,
OT ... and it's also not nice to be smacked on the back of your head by a hospital car park barrier.

What happened to .... ? Academic
Hi, Yonks ago, there was a Carawagon lying in a yard near Llandovery (Wales). Eventually I screwed up courage, went to knock on the blokes door. Truck wasn't where it had been standing for a few years. Bloke told me it had been trailered to Scotland a fortnight earlier. Doh! Registration BMX13A, reg...

Re: light cages by Dormobile
Hi Brad, Do an Ebay search for TRAILER SIDE MARKER LAMPS. There are many shapes and sizes, usually under £10 per pair . They will bolt to the top of your wings, and not look too much out of place on a Land Rover. But three problems ... 1. They shine a white light to the front, and red to the rear. S...

PS. i have just realized having been a bit hand fisted with the wood glue i have found out it is better than swafega for getting ingrained oil from your fingers as i sat having a sarnie and a brew while picking the glue from my finger ends  Hi Brad, Get Janie to make some bread, give you the...

Re: HEC updates
Hi Brad, Thanks for that. I'm using M6 riv-nuts. I bought a cheapo puller (£15?) that wasn't up to the job ... it split asunder under my "firm hand-shake". Then I bought a tiny gadget (£25) that works by two wedges sliding past each other, pulled by an M6 bolt. It works, but is very cumber...
