Re: Dormobile 'headlining'

There are a lot of trim pieces involved in fitting the roof lining all around the Dormobile. The 'Silent Gliss' rails and screws are used as part of that fixing where they run around above the windows. The biggest bit of lining is obviously in the front and is locked in place either side by the curt...

Hi Robin,

I am thinking of joining you as some other commitment for that weekend might now have been be cancelled.
Sorry, something else came up instead. Have a good weekend all,

Ian

Re: Newark Vintage Tractor & Heritage - 8th-10th Nov

Hi Robin,

I am thinking of joining you as some other commitment for that weekend might now have been be cancelled. Are there still spaces on the LRCC stand and I will confirm ASAP after I get home on Sunday (currently in N. Scotland).

Thanks
Ian

Logging in/staying in

When using my tablet I am now asked to log-in on every visit and then get a 'Form invalid, please resubmit' message several times. After several attempts (if I persevere) I usually do get back in. Unfortunately, after reading a post or two I will get kicked off when tapping the index and the whole p...

Re: Low-E Insulation

I haven't directly used Easy-seal but have lined the inside of all Dormy's metal panels with similar material (thin polystyrene on a silver backing). Bought from a DIY shop in their plumbing centre where it is sold to line external walls behind radiators to reduce heat loss. I also use the same mate...

Re: Forum outage and update

Hi Robin,

It is the 'skull' that gives me the problem, just not enough contrast in the red to pierce my vision. A darker shade of red would be fine or maybe the same big green box like the main page.

No rush, if I strain to look, squint sideways or ask SWMBO, it comes through eventually.

Thanks

Re: Forum outage and update

Hi Robin,

Thanks for your hard work keeping the site working and problem free.

Can I ask you to change the colour for 'unread' posts, as the shade of red being used doesn't catch my (slightly) colour blind eyes enough.

Thanks again

Re: Funeral of Romanyrose

I met Brad a couple of times (both at Peterborough showground). The first time he stayed and talked/laughed with everyone. 2nd time he was there for the day. I would happily commit Dormy to his send-off (hope some will do it for me one day) but we will be going away that week unfortunately. Hope the...
