Carawagon roofs and sealing?
I asked this question earlier today on the S2 forum and was directed here. Why I didn't think of posting here first I don't know but there you go... My question is purely one of curiosity. Has anybody got any 'fairly' close up pic's of how the pieces on a Carawagon (as opposed to the Dormobile) roof...

Re: Roof box design
Would be best spacewise. Might look ridiculcous, wouldnt it ? Cheers Stefan/wienun Possibly.... I suppose it depends on how it was made though. How about a nice chequer plate design  Yes, that is a joke!!!! I am not an aerodynamics engineer (or even any sort of engineer) so I don't know what...

Re: Roof box design
What about using a square or rectangular box so that you get max depth along the whole of the box. Then, make up some form of windjammer like some lorries have on the front?

Re: Seat Box Mods......
It is always best to stop sound from source if possible. So, rather than putting soundproofing on top of the floor plates it's better to put it under them. This way the sound waves hit the barrier rather than hitting the plates first. I don't know the science behind it all but I did some extensive r...

Re: Seat Box Mods......
Bloody brilliant mate  It's a similiar sort of thing I hope to do to mine at some future point. I want to try using cork floor tiles under the removable floor plates though. I don't know if it will work but it certainly won't hurt to try. I am also toying with the idea of completely removing...

Re: Removing the Cab Bulkhead from a Marshall
Hiya mate (R-Rose) :tiphat: I've got so far in taking out my bulkhead... There is more to do but at the moment I have other little jobs that are taking precedent and not all on the Landy :thud: Right now I want to clean up the distributor and then see if I can get the engine turning over under its o...

Re: Pop top/elevating roof plans
The problem with Yahoo is that once a group has been closed that is it. I said I had about 6 years experience of running Yahoo groups.. I told a lie, though it was unintentional. It's a bit more than 6 years. I started up a Doctor Who fan group back in 2004 when exactly the same thing happened with ...

Re: Removing the Cab Bulkhead from a Marshall
mines had the bulkhead completely out for over 10 years without trouble... http://www.severebrainfailure.com/landy/ambi/slides/back_sm.jpg http://www.severebrainfailure.com/landy/ambi/conversion/slides/right_side.jpg That you've had no problems now for ten years comes as no surprise to me, I am hap...

Re: Pop top/elevating roof plans
I hate it when people do that though. I offered to help him and he took me on as a mod for the group. I have about 6 years of experience of running Yahoo groups so I know my way around them. I did nothing without asking the owner but it would have been nice if he'd offered to hand the group over to ...
