Got my papers too - I'll probably travel down after work on the Friday, so see you at some point that evening.

Re: Cooker

Yep, you're looking for a Dudley double burner with grill. Usually hammer blue finish paint, with white top section and knobs. IMG_20160325_165948478.jpg The original height (for mine at least) puts it about an inch from the floor when open inside - so is is possible to cook inside, but not ideal. T...

Re: Which Solar panel?

Hi John, My setup is an Absorbed Glass Mat type lead acid battery under the passenger seat (this style: https://www.optimabatteries.com/en-us/yellowtop-deep-cycle-battery/d34 ) - linked up to the solar charger, and the alternator when the engine's running. It's done well considering it's age now, an...

Re: Which Solar panel?

Hi, I've got a similar setup with a deep cycle battery as a leisure battery, and standard lead acid as the starter. The 80W solar panel on the front rack (mounted flat) rarely puts in more than 6 amps in the UK, if that helps any estimations for amperage. I've used a standard 20A solar controller fo...

Re: Forum outage and update

Hi Ian, It looks like the old green theme I adapted for the previous forum software doesn't work on the latest version - I'll work on that and see if I can get it back again. Until then - I've set it to use "Elegance" by default, the contrast is a bit better than the default one I think - hopefully ...

Re: Carawagon interior roof covering

Wear goggles when vacuuming or brushing the roof though - looking up into a falling cloud of tiny glass fibres is asking for trouble!

Thanks for the recommendation Rob! We've been looking for a place to have a work camping trip and this looks ideal.

Re: Funeral of Romanyrose

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend as that's the day of my partner's long awaited surgery appointment and we'll be down in Surrey for it. I hope lots of folk and their Land Rovers can, Brad always did love to do things a little differently and filling up Lincoln with old Land Rovers for his fun...

Re: Live Promotion now charging for club displays :(

The attraction of these events for me was a free weekend camping with friends, and the show that went on around us was just a bonus. If it's not a free weekend camping anymore, then I'd probably opt for spending that £20 on a nicer camp site not surrounded by generators and floodlights all night. As...
