Green Laning on Romney Marsh

DSCN8412 (2) (1280x960).jpg DSCN8433 (2) (1280x960).jpg DSCN8432 (2) (1280x960).jpg Took Twiggy for a jaunt along the sea wall at Hythe ('Unfit for Motor Vehicles') - very exciting with deep, water-filled potholes and lumps of 'rock' (concrete). Was very impressed that she ploughed through with fre...

Re: Kippawagon's Twiggy

Thanks Mick - that's a beautiful awning; I've bookmarked their website for future reference. What sort of money are you looking at for a bespoke Carawagon extension??? I suspect that sort of quality doesn't come cheap! :tiphat:

Re: Kippawagon's Twiggy

Hi Robin I think I'd be daft NOT to order a set of your poles so could you please count me in on that and I'll work out how and when I'm going to collect and fit them (if you're prepared to store them for me until then, anyway?) Hopefully it won't be too long before I get involved in one of your com...

Re: Kippawagon's Twiggy

"The Dormobile racks are copies of the original equipment Brownchurch roof racks supplied by Dormobile (they also supplied a short version as well)" - (Doh, haven't sussed out how to use the quote thing yet). Oops - sorry Mick, no offence intended :embarassed: - and there's no question tha...

Re: Twiggy's first adventure

Um..... filled her up before we went. My daughter said she could see the fuel gage needle moving down as we drove. That's as far as I got to calculating MPG! I WILL keep the logbook up-to-date, though, so all will be revealed in time. Most of the people I spoke to knew more about Series Land Rovers ...

Twiggy's first adventure

Brands Hatch celebrated the 50th anniversary of its first Grand Prix in fine style with a display of roughly 15 vehicles from members of the Series 2 Club Garden of England Area. Twiggy was the only Carawagon and generated lots of interest :nana1:

Re: Kippawagon's Twiggy

Oh those wooden roof racks are lovely. Not having done a trip yet, I don't know how much we're going to want to load on our shorties (probably a lot, if my daughter comes too. And if we take the two dogs....). Someone once told me you get more mileage in hot conditions; what would you normally expec...
