Re: Gertie
Congratulations (a bit late I know), a very interesting vehicle! I don't know if you saw the thread for the sale of this vehicle over on the S2C, but I posted a load of old photos of it that I got with my Dormobile (dark blue - BDH800C); if you happen to have any photos in the history of your one th...

eBay Dormobile (I have old photo!)
Spotted on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DORMOBILE-/291513246295? Interestingly, this was the vehicle parked up next to mine in the Billing lineup some years ago, so I can prove it isn't a modern conversion! In other news, i'm thinking about making a little database to keep proper track...

Re: Rushden Cavalcade last weekend
I was flicking through those photos, and i'm interested by your setup for seatbelts in the back, it looks like you have an extra steel bit to mount the reel on, and then hooks in the floor for the clip bit? Is the steel bit a standard item, (I guess the nice looking trim panel over it is?), and have...

Re: La Dormobile Bleu
OK, thanks very much! Was this a standard fitting then, on later models or something, or is it just a common aftermarket mod?

Re: La Dormobile Bleu
I look forward to it ! It did occur to me looking at it that you could maybe gain a bit more by extending it right to the back, with just a little box for the filler pipe, but I guess there is some reason why that hasn't been done...

Re: La Dormobile Bleu
I've just been flicking through old threads for photos to cheer me up, and I too am now interested by the cutout at the back there! Does it affect axle articulation at all?

Re: Walter the Dormobile
Mine too is on a normal runner (I assume - my first landy, but there is no knob at the front). I couldn't get it to slide off of the runners either, I ended up removing them with it in some awkward way. It would be great to see a proper photo of what should be under the driver's seat, just in case i...

Re: Walter the Dormobile
Michiel,
Is there any chance you could take a photo of your driver's seat assembly, because I haven't yet worked out how to get underneath the seat on mine, so i'm wondering if i'm missing a bit?
Thanks,
Ant
